What began as a passion project to help loved ones has grown into one of Canada’s leading wellness brands.
But what makes this partnership especially meaningful is the shared heritage and values that connect withinUs to our community.
Tami’s family history, marked by perseverance through wartime internment and steadfast leadership, mirrors the resilience we see every day in the seniors we serve. Her grandfather, Bunkichi Nasu, helped lead the 1977 Japanese Canadian Centennial Cherry Tree Planting Ceremony at Oppenheimer Park, a legacy of hope and renewal that still resonates to this day.
Tami’s deep connection to the Japanese Canadian community is reflected through cultural traditions, family legacy, and her commitment to ikigai (living with purpose). These values are beautifully woven into the fabric of withinUs. Their brand name reflects a belief that wellness and strength begin from within. Meanwhile the capital “U” in their logo is a reminder that you, the customer and community, are at the heart of everything they do.
